🖍️ A Child’s Drawing. A Window into Healing. 🖍️

This powerful image was created by a young Ukrainian refugee during one of our healing-through-art workshops.

Two eyes.

One reflects sorrow and pain - the weight of memories no child should carry. The other is filled with hope, love, and light - a quiet but undeniable belief in something better.

At Association Nouvelle Chance, we see both. And we stand beside children who carry both.

That’s why we support psychotherapy sessions for refugee children most in need of emotional healing. But we know healing doesn’t happen in silence or solitude.

It happens in connection, in trust, in laughter, and in the gentle rhythm of everyday joy.

That’s why this summer, we’re creating something special:

🌿 Our first therapeutic summer camp for refugee children

🏕️ In the heart of the forest

🐴 Among animals - huskies and horses

🫶 With the support of a Ukrainian trauma psychologist

💬 And the space to breathe, to play, to feel safe - and to feel again

Because every child deserves more than survival. They deserve to heal. To be seen. To be free to smile - and mean it.
