“We look alike. But we carry different battles.”
– Lena, 15 years old
Three siblings.
One brave, ill mother.
One tiny apartment in Tczew — their shelter after fleeing the war.
Lena is 15.
She’s the glue holding everything together.
She cooks, helps with schoolwork, mediates arguments, comforts her younger siblings - always smiling, always bright, always present.
But what few people see is how much this costs her.
Behind the spark in her eyes is a girl stretched thin.
A teenager who skipped her own childhood to care for others.
And sometimes, when it all becomes too much, her pain finds quieter ways to speak.
Ways that leave no words, but leave a mark.
Sasha is 13.
Autistic, sensitive, and searching for belonging.
He’s faced depression, a suicide attempt, and the dangers of bad influences - not because he’s bad, but because he’s hurting, and trying to cope.
Sofia is 11.
Steady and capable beyond her years.
She’s doing “just fine” — which is exactly why this camp will give her the breath of fresh air she doesn’t even know she needs.
Three siblings — tall, slim, with matching dark eyes.
Different struggles. Same strength. Same quiet need for safety, joy, and peace.
This August, Lena, Sasha, and Sofia have the chance to join our therapeutic summer camp - a place where they don’t have to be strong. Where they can simply be.
✨ What will this camp offer?
🏕️ Forest adventures and space to laugh
🐴 The comfort of horses and huskies — animals that heal in silence
💙 Ukrainian-speaking psychologists offering gentle, trusted support
We’re already sponsoring 22 children through our hashtag#MyPassionMyDreams program.
But Lena, Sasha, and Sofia still need your help.
💙 It costs 350 CHF to sponsor one child.
Let’s send all three of them.
Let’s give Lena a chance to rest.
Let’s give Sasha a moment to reconnect.
Let’s give Sofia the strength to keep shining.
Every donation matters. Every share helps.
